What will I study?

Throughout the course, you will develop in-depth knowledge of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety in non-medical aesthetic therapies. You will develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients while providing skin needling treatments. You will also develop your communication and customer service skills and widen your knowledge of the principles and practices of Level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed on a range of case studies and assignments you complete, which will demonstrate your knowledge and skills. There will also be external written and practical assessments. Your overall grade will be awarded against the fail, pass, merit and distinction criteria.

What qualification will I achieve?

Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling.

What can I do after completing this course?

Once you have finished this course, you will be ready to seek employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry providing skin needling treatments. If you'd like to carry on studying and improving your skills, then you might like to try our Level 4 Skin Peeling course or study our Complementary Healthcare foundation degree.

Additional Info

You'll need to have achieved a Level 3 qualification to join this course. We also recommend you set aside two to three hours a week for some study outside of class. During lessons, you'll need to wear a salon uniform and comfortable closed in flat shoes.
