Aromatherapy Diploma Level 3

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as an aromatherapist. This qualification will support you to gain employment as an aromatherapist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.

Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and essential oils. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to blend essential oils in a tailor-made fashion for each client and provide relaxing aromatherapy massage treatments using different massage techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

You will continually be assessed during the course. There will be observations of your practical work, written assignments, homework, and short written papers.

Once you have completed this course, you will achieve a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy.

Once you have finished this course, you will be highly trained and ready to start working as a aromatherapist. If you are passionate about studying and improving your skills, then you might like to join one of our other diplomas, such as Swedish Massage, to specialise further.

There are a few extra costs as you will be required to purchase your beauty therapy kit, a uniform, which must be worn in the salon, and you may find our recommended textbook useful for your studies. We'll give you more details about these things during your college interview.

You'll need a Level 2 in Beauty-related qualification to join this course. We also recommend you set aside two to three hours a week for some study outside of class.
