What will I study?

This unique course is designed to help you harness the power of music to improve your mental and emotional health, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of joy and harmony. Through chosen pieces shared, you will look at how melody, harmony, rhythm and structure combine to create an aural narrative that moves us, sometimes quite literally!

What qualification will I achieve?

There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.

What can I do after completing this course?

You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.

Are there any extra costs?

This is a free course and all materials are provided, although it is encouraged to bring a notebook and pen.

Additional Info

Learners are required to wear work boots or leather toed shoes due to being in a workshop environment. No open toe shoes to be worn. Please note that this course requires participants to be standing up for the majority of the session using tools in a workshop setting.
