What will I study?

You will study recording, sequencing, mixing, mastering, songwriting, performance, business and film. You will create professional recordings, produce audio-visual work, compose/write original material, develop your performance skills, understand the music business including ‘survival skills’ and produce your own tracks with support from industry professionals. You will work on professional equipment, gaining technical and creative experience in multitrack recording, sequencing and programming.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is based on course work. There is no formal examination.

What qualification will I achieve?

An FdA in Music Production and Creative Recording.

What can I do after completing this course?

This course prepares you to progress to the BA (Hons) Music Production and Creative Recording, or to progress directly to industry.

Are there any extra costs?

There are no studio fees for this course.
