You will learn about simple designing and planning of a quilt, how to make templates for your fabric pieces, basic embroidery techniques to decorate such as applique and Sashiko, and how to hand sew your pieces together.
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college, including our Level 1 Award in Creative Crafts.
Course fee: £37.50
This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)
