You will learn a mix of mindfulness practices and modern pain management strategies. These practices will help to settle and calm the mind and sooth and soften tension in the body. Each week will introduce something new to help you reduce stress, manage chronic pain and restore well-being.
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.
Course fee: £25.00
This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)

Taught by an accredited Breathworks teacher this mindfulness course is based on the Breathworks approach. You will be given a link to Breathworks guided audio mindfulness meditations for you to practice at home.
Please note: learners are limited to taking part in a maximum of SIX community learning courses throughout the academic year.
