This class will be an introduction to Slow Stitch meditations, where you will learn the art of hand stitching and link it to mindful Slow Stitch weekly meditations.

In the spirit of Slow Stitching we will be using a ‘slow approach’ and paying attention to our senses and focus, whilst being creative, playful and relaxed. Using recycled cloth and simple embroidery stitches, we will create small pieces of personal artwork linked to mindfulness themes.
There is no qualification for this course but you will receive a certificate of attendance if you complete the course.
You can explore a variety of other courses within Community Learning or the adult college.
Course fee: £37.50
This course is free if you are in receipt of benefits or earn less than £25,000 per year (this includes pension income)

All materials are provided, however please bring any favourite small pieces of material/needle/thread should you wish to.
