Please note: learners are limited to taking part in a maximum of THREE community learning courses throughout the academic year.
Nothing evokes a sense of time and place more than music. Take an immersive journey into the past to create a soundtrack to your life through six, special songs and then record a personal narrative for each, using Spotify’s accessible platform.
Students will select a song each week and then workshop ideas to: research the social history of that time and why the song holds such a strong attachment to you. The course will offer the opportunity to develop broader research skills and feel empowered to take a journey of self-discovery. Think Desert Island Discs meets storytelling for Wellbeing!
