This course is for qualified assessors who would like to work towards their IQA role. You need to have atleast 2 assessors to be working with. This qualification replaces the V1 qualification.

What will I study?
Understanding the Principles & Practices of Quality Assurance Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment.
How will I be assessed?
The understanding module, is delivered through the colleges VLE 'Turing'. Stidents work at their own pace through the tasks and these are marked by your tutor. The other units are assessed through observation. There is a requirement that you will have to shadow a qualified verifier in your own area of work.
What can I do after completing this course?
You can verify in your place of work, or progress onto a teaching qualification.
You may wish to progress onto the Award in Education and Training or the Cert Ed/PGCE.
