Combining practice and theory, this course will help you consider (if you are new to teaching) or refine (if you are not) the practical skills necessary for developing an effective teaching session. There is an expectation for the theory in Level 3 that you will complete a substantial amount of work independently.
The course is designed for those who want to find out what teaching and learning in Further Education and the Lifelong Learning Sector is all about and for those who want to get a feel of whether or not it is suitable for them. It is also for those who are teaching and want to get some formal validity/confirmation of what they are doing or those who want to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for effective teaching in further education or training.
